YES Zulu Watch - Impressive Looks and Functions
The Zulu watch is impressive. I used to love the Tissot Touch watch, but now I am in love with the Yes watch even more. It looks great with the titanium wrist band. It tells you how much daylight is left in the day and it also shows position and the phase the moon is in... This is in addition to a 24 hour dial to tell time and a digital watch in the background of the dial...

Battery Life Booster - Extends the Battery Life and Reduces the Charging Time
I am really doubtful of products that claim that they extend battery life especially when they use terms such as "nanoceramic"! If you believe them. Click link below to try them out and let me know if they really work :) FYI: the word "nanoceramic" is not even in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary nor dictionary.com!
The 'Evil Twin' Wi-Fi Threat
If you are a frequent user of wireless hotspots, beware of using them to pass on any credentials (don't log into your email account or use them for online banking or shopping). Hackers are setting up fake hotspots along side legitamate ones to resemble the legitimate Wi-Fi hot spots and fool unsuspecting users to log on their networks. Hackers then can intercept transmitted data including user credentials and other sensitive information. Click link for more information.

To "Statin" or not to "Statin"
There have been many studies that proved the benefits of statin drugs that reduce bad chorestorol (LDL or low-density lipoprotein cholesterol) as this one. But the American FDA has recently denied approval of drugs containing statin from being sold over the counter. The drug under review by the FDA was "Mevacor Daily". This was despite studies that showed no relationship between drugs containing statin and any negative effects including cancer. FYI, statin and its effects on bad chorestrol was arguably dubbed 2004's biggest medical breakthrough! It was also known to reduce the levels of 24S-Hydroxycholesterol in patients with Alzheimer's Disease.
For a wealth of information on statin and studies made about it, go to google scholar.

Apple - iPod shuffle
Flash MP3 player (iPod style). It comes in two versions 512 and 1GB. It has no display and it shuffles all the songs for you, hence the name "shuffle" ;) It is smaller than a pack of gum and you can listen to albums from iTunes in order or shuffle them... You can also listen to play lists... Plus more... All the quirks of an mp3 flash player plus more ... But minus the display unit! Weird huh!

iPodder and Podcasting
iPodder is a program that allows you to download Podcasts directly to your iPod or mp3 device.iPodder.org is where you can download it. Podcasts are usually in mp3 format. A Podcast is a radio program, news or music feed that you can subscribe to for free and then listen to it on your iPod or mp3 player at a later time. It is simpler than you think! I have personally subscribed to the 2600 feed plus many others. For an up-to-date list of podcasts go to PodCasting.org.

Side Talkin' Revisited
One of the first things that I noticed when I arrived in Dubai is people (children mainly) still using the unnatural looking side-talkin' N-Gage! So, it reminded me of sidetalkin.com. So, if you want to remember how awkward it is to talk with the old N-Gage visit the link below :)
