LaCie Bigger Disk Extreme 2TB

LaCie has a new network storage device called the Bigger Disk Extreme, with up to 2 terabytes of storage. The Firewire and USB 2.0 drives can even be daisy-chained to allow for RAID, either via striping or mirroring. A ton of storage and for not much money, at just $2,300. That naming scheme seems like a dead end, though. You can’t get more extreme than ‘extreme.’

This really gives it a whole different look and somewhat improves usability. Moreover, this model not only supports bluetooth, but also includes a tiny bluetooth headset. There is a Russian Site that has a full review of the phone in russian! But with nice pictures of the English user interface ;)

Should Ephedra be Banned?

Ephedra has been used by many so called "magical diets", and body-builders have combined it with caffeine and sometimes aspirin pills in what is referred to as a "Stack" to get lean muscles and increase their power levels and enhance metabolism. Ephedra products are known to speed heart rate and constrict blood vessels. They are also known to open up lungs and they are sometimes used in inhalers for flue and to relieve congestion. They are used in some cough medicines. So, if you see a guy getting a load of cough medicine, he is probably going for the ephedra in it ;) On the other hand, ephedra products have been linked to numerous heart attack or stroke-related deaths and injuries. Its herbal cousin, ephedrine, the chemical used in the manufacture of the illegal street drug methamphetamine (speed, x, and others) is banned in the U.S. but not some other countries!

The Use and Abuse of the Titanium Cruiser!

I have personally (with the help of Suhaib also!) put the Titanium flash drive to the test. We threw it (really hard) against a brick wall. We also kicked it around on a gravel road. Kicked it against a speed bump (suhaib even fell down trying to crush the drive) and finally I ran over it with my FTO in the garage when I got home! All that caused some minimal damage to the drive which survived its ordeal with just a little chunk of metal that broke off when suhaib kicked it against the speed bump! To buy one of the titanium cruisers, just click the link below.
